THE TRIP

An experience to remember

On this 7 day and 6 night trip through the southeast of the Anoia you will be enveloped by the tranquility and beauty of its nature, in unique places in Catalonia where you can connect with the environment and breathe fresh air.

With Dani and Mercè you will get to know the winemaking tradition of the territory in a family winery, with a picnic among vineyards, and you will discover the secrets of olive oil in a tasting in a family farmhouse. Joan will open the doors of his house to teach you how to make his wines and cavas, and you will end up with an exclusive meal with him and his family.

You will touch the sky of the Anoia in a balloon ride with Jordi, you will travel by e-bike through the forests of Calaf and, with our friend Ana, you will learn to make an eco-print textile piece with materials collected by yourself in nature.

Rivers, green forests and unrepeatable experiences for an authentic and different vacation. Surround yourself with nature, breathe the Anoia!

STEP BY STEP

Itinerary

DAY 1: Arrival at Els Hostalets de Pierola

Arrival and check-in at the accommodation. Available from 17h.

DAY 2: Ódena and Pla de Morei

In the morning, guided tour of a winery and its vineyards, with a tour of forests and cabins, joining the winemaking past, the paper tradition of the area and the present of an organic production winery. Includes two tastings. Afterwards, travellers will enjoy a picnic of local produce and km0 in front of the vineyards.

DAY 3: Cabrera d’Anoia and Piera

Route along the water roads, on the border with the wine area of Penedès, following an adventure tour through the spectacular streams of the Valles del Anoia. Route with local guide expert in nature. At the end of the route, enjoy a tasting of local olive oil.

DAY 4: Ódena and Calaf

In the morning, hot air balloon flight over the Anoia with tasting of local products. In the afternoon, e-bike rental and nature route of Calaf with self-guided GPS.

DAY 5: Copons

Workshop of botanical stamping (Eco print): It consists of 2 parts: • Collection of the dye plants, preparation and “mordanting” of the fabric.
• Preparation of harvested plants, preparation of fabric and design, preparation of the roll and introduction of steamed roll. It includes time to taste a menu with local products.

DAY 6: Sant Jaume de Sesoliveres

Visit of the vineyards, tour of the facilities and know the history of the winery, ending with an elaborate cuisine meal, sharing a table with the owners and making an exclusive wine pairing, where you can meet the people who manage the winery.
