Turismo Vivencial shares its experience of European funding in Seville

On 9 October, Turismo Vivencial took part in the closing event of EU Funding, held in Seville and focusing on access to European funding for tourism businesses. Antonio Martín Alarcón shared our company’s experience at an event that brought together more than 200 people.

From European projects to day-to-day work

Organised by the European Commission through DG MOVE and EISMEA, the event offered practical guidance on funding opportunities for tourism businesses of all sizes. It took place at FIBES in Seville.

The panel discussions explored access to European funding for SMEs. Our contribution focused on Digitur and INSPIRES, two projects that have helped develop PLANIA Travel and bring it into Turismo Vivencial’s day-to-day work.

As we explained in our article about the INSPIRES programme, PLANIA Travel is designed for travel agencies, DMCs and tour operators. The tool helps turn an enquiry into an editable travel proposal tailored to each agency’s brand, while incorporating sustainability criteria.

Reconnecting over greenways

The day also brought a special moment: meeting again with Mercedes, Director of the European Greenways Association. It was an opportunity to reconnect over a way of travelling that features prominently in our trips: discovering a region through its greenways.
