Night Walk along the Greenway… and the Milky Way

A quiet and different activity with a special point that will allow us to know Teruel city better.
As a meeting point, one of the most recognized corners: the aqueduct of Los Arcos and the Ancient Wall of Teruel.
Always in small groups so as not to alter the order. We bet on quality versus quantity.

We pick up the bike and start the route in Teruel city. First, a pleasant urban walk, always by bike path, will take us to the emblematic hill of Sta. Barbara, place of nature very popular for the Turolenses but not visited by the outsider. As we roll along a perfect dirt track, we are accompanied by a beautiful and unprecedented night view of the city and the natural park of Las Arcillas, at your feet. From there and with caution, as we go downhill, we will access directly to the Greenway of Black Eyes. Down the road, we will enjoy a quiet night walk for a few kilometers. The mere fact of rolling quietly, quietly and safely under the closed night invites you to live in the moment.

Teruel, due to its low light pollution, enjoys one of the most appreciated and highest quality night skies. Being the province with up to 3 Reservations certified by the Starlight Foundation. A luck that allows us to exercise, in first person, the “Right in the light of the stars”. We can clearly observe the Milky Way with the naked eye every night. A simple, but very special natural show with which the vast majority is not used to coexist in their day to day.
Next. We will follow the Greenway until we pass by the old Valdecebro station. Just a few meters later we leave the Via to join a track in perfect condition that gently does not lead to another emblematic place for the people of Teruel, the area of the Closed Fountain, about 7km. At that point there will be a vehicle to pick them up along with the bike and transfer them to Teruel. An evening guarantee of sensations and moments of “adventure”.
