Andújar is one of those little known destinations, but with a wide variety of tourist resources to enjoy and discover. Its Natural Park is one of the most unique places where the Iberian lynx lives and spectacular biodiversity. There are many trails that cross it with an important activity of sighting of flora and fauna throughout the year.

The Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Cabeza is one of the most important pilgrimage places in our country, but also Andújar has impressive olive fields, tradition for flamenco, artisan pottery and a gastronomy rooted in popular tapas.

STEP BY STEP

Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival

Pick up and transfer to the hotel. Food and free time to make contact with the city.

Day 2 – Ceramics and Honey

Day dedicated to the sweet taste of honey visiting its Beekeeping Interpretation Center and a candle making factory with natural wax. In the afternoon, visit a ceramic workshop where you can make your own piece.

Day 3 – Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Head

We will go up to the impressive Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Cabeza, where we will tell you all the stories of this unique location. We will have a picnic in the same sanctuary.

Day 4 – Historic centre and tapas

We will visit the historic centre of Andújar to see its Archaeological Museum and other interesting religious monuments. To eat, we have prepared a tapas route through some of the local taverns. In the afternoon, we will visit a guitar workshop where the master craftsman still performs them by hand.
