An experience to remember

Do you want to discover Barcelona like you never imagined?

In this getaway you will integrate with the local community of the Port and the market through gastronomy, wine and local products grown in the metropolitan area of Barcelona. A complete experience to immerse yourself in the seafaring traditions of Barcelona.

You will discover the origin of traditional seafood dishes, learn to cook with local producers and taste them in an idyllic setting, the Port of Barcelona. You will connect with the sea through a session of Sup Yoga, which you will practice in one of the most emblematic beaches of the Barceloneta neighborhood. You will travel from the sea to the mountain to discover the Garraf Park from an underground perspective. You will enter its wine culture from one of the chasms of the Park and you will taste a variety of wines of proximity of great quality.

Discover the traditional culture of the fishermen of the Port of Barcelona, marvel at the mountain and its products and relax in a cozy and sustainable Barcelona.

STEP BY STEP

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival and check-in at the accommodation.

Day 2

Arianna, marine biologist, will show you the emblematic seaside neighborhood from the point of view of the relationship with the sea. On a journey from its history to the present day, you will meet places and institutions and delve into the local culture, its gastronomy and the character of its people. At the Barceloneta Market you will learn to recognize fresh and local products, especially its star product: Fish! You will end up with a tasting of local products.
In the afternoon, Núria awaits you at the fishermen’s dock. You will visit the docking area, the Clock Tower, and you will live a magical moment: the arrival of the fishermen to the docking zone after a working day. You will discover the fresh fish of the day and you can attend the fish auction, a unique and singular activity that will not leave you indifferent. An authorized buyer will acquire the fish you will take with you for dinner. You will end up with a glass of cava in the patio of nets, where you will enjoy a chat with the fishermen and a magnificent view of Barcelona. Ready for a real seafood menu? A very special showcooking awaits you in a unique space near the port, where accompanied by a chef, you will put into practice the most authentic seafood recipes.

Day 3

An adventure awaits you in the heart of the Garraf Park, which you will know from an underground perspective. You will enjoy a guided descent to one of the chasms of the park and, inside, you will taste a delicious sparkling wine. You will visit a family winery and taste a variety of wines accompanied by a tasty brunch of local products and km0.

Day 4

Can you imagine a calm sea and incredible sky colours that draw a special Barcelona? Stop imagining to live a unique experience aboard a paddle surf board. With Daina, you will live a class at your own pace, and, depending on the weather, the challenge will be greater or lesser. Do you dare?
