La Manga del Mar Menor, aromas and flavors of the Mediterranean

Day 1

Arrive calm, we will be waiting for you at your accommodation to welcome you to the Manga. You will have free time to settle in. In the afternoon, we have planned that our friend Angel will surprise you with a tasting of wines and oils from the Region of Murcia. They are young but intense wines, standing out among our 3 DO: Bullas, Jumilla and Yecla. After the tasting, we recommend you to visit the lighthouse of the Estacio to enjoy the sunset, a show with daily pass that, like wine, invites us to discover its different colours and sensations. Dinner will be provided at the hotel.

Day 2

In the morning, Sergio, our local host, awaits you at the Cabo de Palos Lighthouse to climb up and enjoy its incredible views and explain all the stories of pirates that hide their walls. Back in port, you will have the opportunity to see a fishing boat arrive or one of these unloading the catches of the day. For lunch you will be waiting at the restaurant La Bocana with a tasting of traditional seafood, the perfect opportunity to taste the flavors of the Mediterranean. In the afternoon we will leave you free time to continue discovering, at your own pace, the wonders of this coastal corner. At the end of the afternoon, it will be time to return to the hotel to savor dinner. Then, if you feel like it, it is time to enjoy the lively atmosphere of the Tomás Maestre port.

Day 3

After the energetic breakfast and a relaxed walk with bare feet on the sand of the beach, our friend Pilar will wait for you in her gastronomic space. He will be in charge of teaching you to elaborate some of the traditional recipes of La Manga, such as the Caldero rice, which you can enjoy together in a pleasant meal.
