San Fermin for everyone

Day 1

Arrival in Pamplona at our leisure and check-in at the hotel. We will have free time to settle in and explore the city at our own pace. In the afternoon, we meet with our host, Mikel, for a guided tour of the historic centre, walking Ernest Hemingway’s route from Plaza del Castillo to Plaza de Toros, and visiting the Romanesque Cathedral. We will have free time to enjoy the parks, gardens and start savoring the local cuisine with some delicious pintxos.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will go to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento to experience the exciting Chupinazo, the official start of the San Fermín festivities, with thousands of people celebrating in unison. In the afternoon, we will go out to enjoy the comparsa de Gigantes y Cabezudos, a colorful parade that runs through the streets. At the end of the day, we will enjoy dining in a typical cider house, where we will taste the gastronomy of Navarre.

Day 3

We will wake up to live the excitement of the first enclosure from a balcony on the famous Estafeta Street, and then, we will enjoy a breakfast on the same balcony while the party continues in the streets. At 10:00, we will witness the procession of San Fermín, with hundreds of people paying tribute to the patron saint. In the afternoon, the streets are filled with music and dance in the Plaza del Castillo, while the Toro Fair begins with bullfighting. We will have the opportunity to attend one of them, in the area of “Andana Sombra”.

Day 4

In the morning, we will live a new experience with the enclosure from a privileged balcony, enjoying the show and having a delicious coffee with homemade pastas. After the lockdown, we will have free time to continue exploring Pamplona before returning home.
