An experience to remember

Imagine Don Quixote of La Mancha fighting against the blades of the mills as “giants” for La Mancha lands. The enclave is unbeatable and the city of Belmonte a perfect place to start this tour through La Mancha lands.

The impressive Belmonte Castle will welcome you to relive the battles and stories that keep its centuries-old walls. In the small towns of this destination we will also enjoy good gastronomy, and good wines in family ones; without forgetting the cheese that we can taste directly in the small local workshops.

We will also visit Cuenca where we will enter its imposing Cathedral and walk next to the hanging houses, where it is inevitable to take photographs from all angles looking for the best perspective.

STEP BY STEP

Itinerary

Day 1 – Belmonte

Arrival in Belmonte in the afternoon and overnight at the hotel. Walk through the villa, its alleys and churches and visit the Castle to enjoy spectacular views and sunset.

Day 2 – Visiting wineries and vineyards

In the morning we will approach one of the best wineries in La Mancha, located in a unique environment. After walking among its vineyards, you will enjoy a tasting of its best wines and Manchego sausages. Very close to the winery are the impressive mills guided by the winds of La Mancha, there we will share some of our time in a craftsman workshop.

Day 3 – Belmonte

After breakfast you will have to decide between a pleasant hiking tour through the surroundings of Belmonte or to enjoy a rest time in the relaxation area of your hotel. In the afternoon, we will visit a family workshop of authentic Manchego cheese.
