Come and enjoy an autumnal immersion in the Monfragüe National Park, a must in the world of ornithology and Mediterranean flora. A unique natural area declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2003. You will enjoy a pleasant 4×4 route through the park with our friend Cristina.

In the natural viewpoints such as the Gypsy Jump or Tietar Portilla, you will have the opportunity to admire the different birds that inhabit this place. You will see diverse landscapes, immense meadows of oaks and cork oaks. You will be able to see herds of goats, sheep and Iberian pigs.

A unique getaway that will complete with the medieval culture of Plasencia and its traditional gastronomy.

STEP BY STEP

Itinerary

Day 1

After staying at the Hospedería free time your first contact with nature in a unique environment.

Day 2

After breakfast you will meet our hostess to discover the Monfragüe National Park in a 4×4 route in which, between reservoirs and streams, you will pass through restricted access areas, you will observe the birds that inhabit the park such as the black vulture, the alimoche or the black stork. You will also stop at unique viewpoints such as La Serrana with a picnic where you will taste some typical products of the area.

Day 3

After breakfast you will go to Plasencia where our friend Juan will receive you to walk together through the historic centre and its narrow streets full of palaces and stately homes,
