THE TRIP

An experience to remember

The Balearic Islands are a spectacle of nature, possibly why Menorca is a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. This wonderful island, full of crystal clear water coves, stories, legends and traditions, is the perfect setting to disconnect from everyday life and connect again with nature and local gastronomy.

Our itinerary will take you to the best of this Mediterranean paradise, always in the company of good local hosts, who will tell you many stories of the island and those who came from outside to stay. We will also teach you some things about our traditions, such as our typical sandals, our famous film director’s chairs (which are actually the Menorquina chairs), and of course, we will teach you the secrets of our ensaimadas and sobrasadas.

This and much more is what we have prepared for you when you come to visit us.

STEP BY STEP

Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival

We will pick you up at Menorca airport to take you to your hotel. You will have the afternoon free to discover the small corners of its surroundings.

Day 2 – Visiting the coves of Menorca

To make your arrival in Menorca memorable, in the morning we will come to discover the best known coves of the south such as Macarella and Macarelleta. We will stop to eat in an authentic mill, which will offer us typical dishes of Menorcan food. Afternoon free to enjoy the island.

Day 3 – Free day

Today our route will take us to Cala Pregona, undoubtedly one of the favorites of Menorcans and visitors where relaxation and connection with nature is total. We will access from Camí de Cavalls by a red sand path.

Day 4 – Gastronomy

Today we will dedicate the day to gastronomy, so after breakfast we will go to a farm where the best cheeses are made with DO Mahón and sausages such as sobrasada. We will also go to a workshop to elaborate the authentic ensaimada of Menorca. All very close to Es Mercadal. We will continue our itinerary to Fornell, where you can eat in any of its restaurants, where rice with lobster is the specialty. In the afternoon, back to the hotel, we will stop at Monte Toro, from where you can see the whole island on clear days.

Day 5 – Discovering Menorca

We have prepared a tour of the best places and towns in the south. We will start with Binibèquer Vell, just one word, spectacular. We will continue through Es Castell, where you can eat in its taverns while watching the sailboats that enter the Port of Mahon arrive. In the afternoon, a tour of the most authentic Mahon, with its market and the historic centre, will be a perfect place to wait for the sunset of the Mediterranean.

Day 6 – Crafts

Today will be a day dedicated to craftsmanship, to which you did not know that in Menorca the well-known “Film Director” chairs were invented, really Menorcan chairs, the only ones you will see on the terraces of the taverns throughout the Island. We will go to a craft workshop where you will learn how to build them. Before lunch, we will approach a typical market. We will leave you the afternoon free to continue at your own pace.

Day 7 – Ciutadella

You already know the south, north and east; so today it is time to take you to know the history of Ciutadella.
We will take you through its streets and houses of Indians, with a tour of the heritage and history of one of the most beautiful cities in the Mediterranean. The Cathedral, the port and its taverns await you with memories and experiences.

Day 8 – Return home

It will be your last day with us, so you have to take advantage of the time to buy souvenirs in one of the markets. Transfer back to the airport.
