Explore the most amazing desert in the world on our trip to northern Chile! We will start in Santiago and fly to San Pedro de Atacama, an oasis of charm surrounded by volcanoes and lunar landscapes. We will discover the Valley of the Moon, float in the amazing Cejar Lagoon, and marvel at the colorful Valley of Rainbows. We will immerse ourselves in ancient history with the petroglyphs of Yerbas Buenas and relax in the Eyes of the Salt Flat. Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival in Santiago

Pick up at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2. Free day in Santiago

Breakfast at the hotel and free day. Overnight in Santiago. *See optional activities

Day 3. Santiago – San Pedro de Atacama

Breakfast at the hotel. At the stipulated time, our private driver will pick us up to take us to the airport and take the flight to Calama. Upon our arrival, another private driver will take us to the new hotel. Accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama.

Day 4. San Pedro de Atacama: Petroglyphs of Yerbas Buenas & Rainbow Valley and Cejar Lagoon, Ojos del Salar and Tebenquiche

After breakfast, we will meet with our local host and the group to start our day exploring the petroglyphs of Yerbas Buenas. This archaeological site, located in the San Pedro de Atacama area, reveals a fascinating set of rock figures carved in volcanic rock, some dated approximately 4,000 years ago. Along the tour, we will pass through the Atacama Desert until reaching an altitude of about 3,200 meters above sea level, enjoying panoramic views and observing local wildlife, such as wild flames and donkeys. We will continue our journey towards the Valley of Coiris, whose multicolored hills (red, green, blue, gray, yellow) show the mineralogical diversity of the region. This unique landscape is a testament to the natural richness of the desert. Returning to San Pedro de Atacama, we will head towards Laguna Cejar, known for its high salt content that allows you to float in its turquoise waters, similar to the Dead Sea experience. Then we will visit the Tebenquiche Lagoon, famous for its white salt crust and its impressive views of the Andean volcanoes reflected in the water. Our last stop will be in the Ojos del Salar, two freshwater pools in the middle of the desert, where we can relax before returning to San Pedro de Atacama. Accommodation in San Pedro de Atacama.
