Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival in Lisbon

Private transfer Hotel – Airport.

Day 2. Lisbon exclusively

Together with our local host, we will immerse ourselves in the rich legacy of Lisbon during the Age of Discovery. From the majesty of the Tagus River to the monuments that tell its story, we will relive this golden age. The Belém Tower, a proud World Heritage Site, and the Padrão dos Descobrimentos, evoke the grandeur of the Portuguese caravels. The Jerónimos Monastery, a 16th century Manueline treasure, treasures the essence of those times. We will walk through Chiado, the elegant neighborhood full of cafes and bookstores, and admire the beauty from the viewpoint of Santa Luzia, near the imposing Castle of San Jorge. Day 3. Sintra, Cascais and Estoril

After breakfast we will leave with our private vehicle to visit the medieval village of Sintra (UNESCO World Heritage). We will visit the charming National Palace, decorated with “tiles” from the 16th and 17th centuries. We can not leave Sintra without tasting the local gastronomic specialty: the “complaints” so we will look for a good pastry to delight our palates. We will continue to Cabo da Roca, the most distant point of Continental Europe, where several species of birds and varied vegetation are found, where we will observe the Lighthouse, one of the oldest on the Portuguese coast, surrounded by fresh air. We will arrive at the colorful bay of Cascais, a traditional fishing village that will offer us numerous gastronomic options to eat. Return to Lisbon. Accommodation in Lisbon

Day 4. Fatima

We will discover this important sacred centre of the Christian faith, known worldwide for its Sanctuary, a place of Christian pilgrimage since the beginning of the 20th century. We will visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima: the impressive Basilica of Our Lady, the Chapel of the Apparitions, the heart of the sanctuary and the place where, according to the Catholic Church, three visionary children Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta Marto received several apparitions and heavenly messages from the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God. We will continue to the tombs of the three little shepherds, the precious statue of Our Lady of Fatima, the great oak tree, and also the monument dedicated to the three shepherd children of Fatima. Free time to visit the sanctuary. Return to Lisbon. Accommodation in Lisbon.
