Touring the Mediterranean

Day 1

At the set time you will take your AVE to arrive in record time and start enjoying your route. Once accommodated in the hotel our private host will accompany you on a walking tour of the historic centre of the city where you can admire buildings such as the Cathedral of Santa María de Valencia, the Marques Palace or the Torre de Micalet, perfect place to enjoy its terraces. The Quart Towers, old gateways to the medieval walled city and the Serrano Towers will be other stops. Then we will approach the Silk Exchange and the famous Mossen Sorell Market, with a wide range of gourmet products and where you can taste some of its traditional tapas. Afternoon free to continue enjoying the city at your leisure. Free dinner and accommodation.

Day 2

After breakfast, together with our private driver we will leave for the Albufera where our local host awaits us, with which you will board the typical albuferencas boats and tour this natural enclave while you know the living history of this region and observe the great variety of native fauna. You are in the ideal place to taste the local cuisine and check out why authentic paella is Valencian. Back to the city, free time to stroll downtown or visit the City of Arts and Sciences.

Day 3

After breakfast and check-out, you will approach the train station to take the train that will take you to Tarragona to continue enjoying the itinerary. In the afternoon, with our private hostess, you will know the history of the Imperial Tarraco visiting the ancient Wall, the Provincial Forum and the Roman Circus. On your way through the Rambla you will see one of the most important badges of Catalan traditions with its emblematic statue of Castellers (human towers), from there you will continue to the viewpoint of the Rambla Nova, better known as the “Balcony of the Mediterranean”.

Day 4

Breakfast and departure to our third and great Mediterranean city. You will arrive in Barcelona in less than an hour. After staying at the hotel, free time for your first walk around the city and discover some of its most authentic neighborhoods such as the Eixample or Born, with its atmospheric terraces. Do not miss the Gothic Quarter with its churches and alleys full of history that run through the ancient walls of the city. In the afternoon-night, we have booked a tasting of Cavas and Catalan wines that will pair with an exquisite selection of cheeses.

Day 5

After breakfast, get closer to the legacy of the great architect Antoni Gaudí, visiting the impressive and unfinished Sagrada Familia. Free time to taste the local cuisine in one of the many options offered by the city. In the afternoon, in the company of our local hostess, you will enjoy an authentic tour of the modernist buildings of Paseo de Gracia and its luxurious boutique shops, which will continue down to the Rambles with the impressive Liceo Theater and its traditional Boquería market. Do not stop drinking a chocolate with honeydews in the traditional chocolate shop on Calle Petrixol.

Day 6

Breakfast at the hotel and free time to take the last pictures before taking your AVE train back home.
