An experience to remember

The Ribera Sacra, is a land marked by the rivers Sil and Miño that as they pass through the mountains are shaping a magnificent landscape. Ideal place for lovers of nature, heritage and gastronomy. It is the area with the highest concentration of Romanesque religious buildings in Europe. Wine area, which smells throughout the territory. Landscape marked by vineyards located on the slopes of the mountains.
You will have the opportunity to admire the Sil Canyon, deep gorge of rock, water and winding curves while we take a pleasant boat ride. You will visit a D.O. Ribera Sacra and you will taste the local gastronomy. Enjoy two days of disconnection in a magical, different and very enriching rural environment.

STEP BY STEP

Itinerary

Day 1

Accommodation at the Parador de Monforte de Lemos and free time to enjoy its medieval heritage.

Day 2

In the morning, we will approach the Ponte do Sil jetty, in Abeleda where Pedro will meet us on his catamaran to enjoy a pleasant private walk through the canyons of the Sil River. In the afternoon we will meet Ruth, with whom we will enjoy a route through Monforte de Lemos, a city with a great railway tradition, where we can admire its medieval heritage as well as know the deep-rooted culture of wine.

Day 3

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will go to Ana’s winery, where she will explain the origins of her brand, the cultivation and production of her wines. To complete the day, we will enjoy a pleasant lunch based on local products.
