Start your journey by train with Renfe, taking advantage of the new facilities for the transport of bicycles: specific places on Medium Distance and Avant trains, marked spaces and nearby seats for comfort. Get to Jaén, the starting point of the route, and get ready for an unforgettable journey.
From the station of Jaén, it easily connects with the Via Verde del Aceite, an old railway route transformed into a natural road of 128 km that crosses a sea of olive trees, historical viaducts and charming villages. Along the route, you can enjoy its tunnels, viewpoints and rest areas that invite you to stop and breathe the essence of the Andalusian landscape.
Your adventure culminates in Puente Genil, where a comfortable transfer service will pick you up in Campo Real to take you with your bike to the Puente GenilHeHerrera station, from where you can return by train to your point of origin.

What makes it unique?
It combines train and bicycle in a sustainable way. Direct access from the Renfe de Jaén and Puente Genil-Herrera stations. The Natural Oil Way has 13 viaducts of the Eiffel school. It is the longest in Andalusia.

The journey along the Camino Natural Vía Verde del Aceite is much more than a bicycle route: it is a journey through the essence of the south, between olive groves, heritage and villages with soul. Your adventure begins in Jaén, the capital of olive oil, where the aroma of liquid gold permeates its streets and monuments. Before starting the route, it is worth visiting its imposing Renaissance Cathedral or the Castle of Santa Catalina. Pedal south to Martos, a monumental city crowned by its rock and castle, considered one of the hearts of the olive grove. Its surroundings offer spectacular viewpoints over the sea of olive trees that defines the province. Zuheros will surprise you with its beauty: declared one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, it looks out over a rocky gorge dominated by its medieval castle. Do not forget to explore the Bat Cave, a natural jewel of the region. The route continues to Doña Mencia, a charming white village of the Cordoban Subbética, with streets full of life and culture. It is the perfect place to rest and taste its local cuisine. Finally, Olive Oil Greenway takes you to the plains of Puente Genil, where the crossing concludes. Here, Campo Real marks the end of the road before linking to Puente GenilHeHerrera station, the return point by train. Between tunnels, viaducts and landscapes of endless olive trees, this route offers a complete experience of nature, history and Andalusian flavor.
