Day 1
We will pick you up at Barcelona airport to take you to the hotel in Barcelona. In the afternoon, after a break, you will meet Anna, a friend in love with Catalonia. Together you will tour the city centre and discover some of its best secrets. We will stay in Barcelona.
Day 2
After breakfast, we will go to the mountains of Montserrat, to walk its trails with Ricard. It will be a simple route, full of stories and legends. The food will be picnic-based. In the afternoon we will approach the ecological vineyard of Anna, where we can visit its vineyards and taste some of its wines and cavas. We will return to Barcelona to go to the hotel to rest.
Day 3
After breakfast, we will transfer to the Baix Empordà, on the Costa Brava. Next to Sandra you will discover the beautiful fishing village of Calella de Palafrugell among its stories of fishermen and habaneras. In the afternoon, you will have free time to enjoy its crystal-clear coves and magnificent Mediterranean cuisine. We will stay in Calella de Palafrugell.
Day 4
After breakfast we head to one of the charming villages of Catalonia: Peratallada. With our friend Sandra, we will immerse ourselves in the medieval history hidden in its walls and cobbled streets. We will continue the route to Girona, where you will have free time to eat and walk through the historic centre. At the agreed time, we will go to the accommodation, in Anoia.
Day 5
After breakfast, we will leave for the Pyrenees, specifically to the Vall de Boí. Upon our arrival and after lunch, we will meet Lluís and make a route through its villages and its 8 Romanesque churches of the 11th and 12th centuries, declared World Heritage by UNESCO. We’ll sleep in Tallll.
Day 6
After getting strength with breakfast, Miquel, an expert in nature, will come to meet us to accompany us on a hiking route through the Aigüestortes National Park. At lunchtime, we will stretch the tablecloths to eat surrounded by nature. We will return to Taüll and have free time to rest. We recommend you to visit the artisan cheese shop of our friend Rubén to taste some of his delicious Km-0 cheeses. Overnight in Taüll.
Day 7
After breakfast we will start our journey to the south. We will stop in Penelles, a town in the province of Lleida that stands out for its Street Art, where the colorful murals that dress the facades of its walls stand out. Once we have eaten, we will go to Alcanar. We will have free time to settle in the hotel or go out to enjoy the charm of its historic centre, originated in 1239.
Day 8
We will have breakfast at the hotel and enjoy the beauty of the Ebro Delta in a special way. Together with our local host, Ferran, you will live an electric bike tour that will take you to the mouth of the Ebro River and its ecosystem, crossing rice fields and enjoying its gastronomy. Afternoon free to rest. We will sleep in Alcanar.
Day 9
After breakfast we will return to the Penedés and visit the cellar of our friend Neus. We will tour their vineyards in a unique way, driving a classic mehari car. The food will be in the same vineyard, based on a tasting of local dishes with local products. We will return to Barcelona to enjoy the afternoon at our leisure and stay at the hotel.
Day 10
Depending on your time of return home, you will have free time for some last minute shopping, or we will transfer to the airport to say goodbye until your next visit.
