Day 1. Arrival in Buenos Aires

• Pick up at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2. Buenos Aires

• After breakfast, we will visit Buenos Aires, known as the “Paris of South America” for its Parisian-like architecture. We will start in the Plaza de Mayo, where the Casa Rosada, the Cathedral and the Cabildo are located. We will explore San Telmo, an old and bohemian neighborhood, and La Boca, famous for the colorful houses on Caminito Street. We will head north to visit the elegant neighborhood of Recoleta, with its wide avenues and parks. There we will visit the monumental cemetery, where the remains of Eva Perón and other historical figures rest. Return to the hotel. Overnight in Buenos Aires.

Day 3. Buenos Aires – Ushuaia

• After breakfast, our private driver will take us to the airport to take the flight to Ushuaia.

Day 4. Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego and Isla de los Lobos National Park

• After breakfast, we will privately visit the Tierra del Fuego National Park. This park is located just 12 km from the city centre of Ushuaia, southwest of the Big Island of Tierra del Fuego. Created in 1960, it has an area of about 70,000 hectares, although only 2,000 can be visited. Here the landscapes of the coast of the Beagle Channel, the subantarctic forest and the mountains of the southern end of the Andes Mountains are combined. Through its different trails you can enjoy walks in contact with its rich fauna, among which the presence of numerous birds, archaeological sites and historical interest stands out. During this tour we will visit different panoramic points such as Lake Roca, whose colour varies according to the weather and Lapataia Bay, where the sign that announces the end of National Route No. 3 and the Pan-American Route is located. Free time to eat. In the afternoon, starting from the Tourist Dock, we will travel as a group through the wide Bay of Ushuaia until reaching the Beagle Channel. We will stop first to observe the Island of Birds where skúas, albatrosses, seagulls and gulls nest among other species. We will continue to the Island of Wolves where the attractive star are the sea lions of one and two hairs. We will finish the navigation at the Les Eclaireurs lighthouse, often mistakenly called “End of the World Lighthouse”, which is a typical postcard of the city. Return to port. Overnight in Ushuaia.

Day 5. Ushuaia – El Chaltén

• After breakfast, our private driver will pick us up to take us to the airport and take the flight to Calafate. Upon our arrival, another private driver will take us to the same hotel. Overnight in El Chaltén.

Day 6. El Chalten, Lago del Desierto

• After breakfast, we will meet with our local host and the rest of the group to visit the perfect place to relax and enjoy a short trekking in Lago del Desierto, a wonderful lake at the end of the road on the border with Chile. The lake, deep blue in colour, is surrounded by an extensive forest of Lengas and Ñires and on top, the peaks of the snowy mountains. We will travel 37 km along a gravel route until we reach the Desert Lake. Once at the lake, we have 4 free hours where we will make a trek to the Huemul Glacier and a navigation through the Desert Lake. The trek to the Huemul Glacier is short but in several parts very steep. Once we reach the edge of the forest, we will find a spectacular 360-degree view. In front of us we will see the glacier and its lagoon, to the right the Lake of the Desert and the snowy mountains, behind us the forest and to our left the complete valley of the River of the Vueltas and the Fitz Roy Hill in the distance. This is a perfect location to sit back, relax and enjoy nature in all its glory. We descend to continue with the second part of our adventure. The navigation will allow us to enjoy the view of the surroundings of the lake without exerting much effort. We will see waterfalls, glaciers over the mountains and the north face of Mount Fitz Roy; a very different face to the one we usually appreciate from the town. Upon returning, we met our driver to return to the hotel in El Chaltén. The approximate duration of the entire adventure is 8 hours. Overnight in El Chaltén.

Day 7. El Chaltén – Calafate

• After breakfast, our private driver will pick us up to take us to Calafate. Overnight in Calafate.

Day 8. Calafate, Perito Moreno Glacier

• After breakfast, we will meet our local host and the rest of the group to visit the Perito Moreno Glacier. We will visit the spectacular Perito Moreno glacier, one of the most important attractions in Argentine Patagonia. It is located about 80 km from El Calafate. During the tour to the park, we will know the peculiarities of the famous glacier. The first 50 km of the journey we will cross the Patagonian steppe but, as we approach our destination, we will be able to appreciate the transition to the colorful Patagonian Andean forest populated with lengas, ñires and coihues. The park has 4.7 km of walkways that make up circuits of different difficulty. We will have enough time to explore them freely and enjoy the imposing views of the glacier. Overnight in Calafate.

Day 9. Free day in Calafate

• Breakfast at the hotel and free day. Overnight in Calafate.

Day 10. RETURN TO HOME, Calafate – Buenos Aires

• After breakfast, our private driver will take us to Buenos Aires airport to catch the flight back home.
