The meeting is co-organized by the Association of entrepreneurs of the Greenway of Oil, the Greenways Association of Andalusia along with other project partners such as Pangea Routes, Mediterranean Bike Tours and the Foundation of the Spanish Railways, as well as by other partners of the Pedalea project such as the Subbética and ConBici Cyclotourist Center.
It will take place on February 26 in Doña Mencía, Córdoba.
The objective of the day is to share strategies to improve the management of the Greenways, emphasizing the importance of public-private collaboration and the key role played by tourism companies linked to this type of itineraries.
A day that is celebrated in the middle of the Natural Way Olive Oil Greenway, which will allow you to know first-hand the experiences of the Subbética Cycling Center located in the old railway station of Doña Mencía and the tourism companies of the environment, as well as the formulas of collaboration developed between them and with the administrations.

And in the search for collaboration and strengthening of bicycle tourism, it should be noted that it is a day jointly organized by two Experiencias Turismo Spain projects to take advantage of the enormous synergies between both projects, placing the development of the Greenways and Cyclotourism in Spain as the axes of work to generate a unique experience around the bicycle.
Experience Spain's Greenways
is a grouping of 10 public and private entities led by the Fundación de los Ferrocarriles Españoles whose objectives are based on the improvement of the “Vías Verdes España” experience with criteria of competitiveness, sustainability, accessibility and integration of rail and railway cultural heritage and the improvement of digital marketing and the creation of products and experiences. From the analysis of the socio-economic impact of the Greenways, progress is made towards an effective model of management, marketing and access to products both nationally and internationally.
Pedestrian Spain
is led by ConBici together with 11 entities from all over the national territory, has among its objectives the creation of a network of actors (Cyclotourism Club) under the figure of the Coordinating Center of Cycling Tourism of Spain. The creation of the Experience of Cycling from the design of a story, together with the creation of a marketplace will allow the dissemination, promotion and marketing of cycling products from Spain from a transversal perspective in which companies and administrations collaborate.
The day before, coordination meeting of partners “Experimenta Vías Verdes”
It is also an excellent opportunity to contact entities, managers and entrepreneurs of other Andalusian greenways and other places in Spain, who will participate the previous day the intermediate coordination meeting of the partners of the Experimenta Vías Verdes project in Spain.
In this working meeting, the group that develops the project will review the actions developed or in process until that moment (several days to strengthen the supra-autonomous Greenways, accessibility diagnosis, Greenways observatory, inventory of railway stations with new tourist uses, digital marketing actions such as the translation of the Greenways website into languages, or the creation of products and experiences such as the Grand Tour, Greenways Passport and Natural Roads. It will also address aspects related to project management, schedule and communication.
