The thermalism in Ourense has more than two thousand years of history and begins in the springs of As Burgas, in the center of the town. Ourense is one of the towns with the greatest thermal activity in Europe, as well as being home to some of the springs with the hottest waters that have been part of the city since its origins. Nowadays, the historical thermal baths are preserved in the open air.
