Los Pedroches, stories among oak groves

The Pedroches Valley is the region of Cordoba where we find the largest continuous pasture in Europe and where one of the four protected designations of origin of Iberian ham is born. The pigs are raised in freedom among oaks and cork oaks, feeding on acorns and grasses in a natural environment that has one of the cleanest skies on the planet. We invite you to spend an authentic day in the countryside, strolling through the pasture, participating in the daily tasks on the farm and enjoying an after-dinner conversation with friends after a well-deserved lunch with local products.

You will also visit Villanueva de Córdoba, one of the most important villages in the valley. There you will pass by its most emblematic buildings, feel like a local in its food market, discover its handicrafts and visit an Iberian ham winery. Our local hosts are waiting for you in the Pedroches Valley to tell you incredible stories of the past and recent history of one of the best places in Cordoba.
