Anoia, trades and traditions with the family
You will enjoy 7 days and 6 nights where you will visit mainly the center and the West-East of Anoia.
Joan and Jaume will welcome you in their organic farm to show you their flock of sheep and lambs, their care and their fields. You will also visit the museum of rural tools used by their ancestors. You will taste the local gastronomy in a nearby restaurant with products of the same agricultural production. You will be sweetened by a visit to Josep Maria, a beekeeper who will open the doors of his farmhouse to show you how bees are cared for and the process of honey production. You will have the opportunity to taste different types of honey produced there!
You will enjoy the nature of Calaf on an e-bike route with your family and you will visit an equestrian center where you will learn to communicate with the horses, as well as ride with them.
Our friend Gemma will show you her flock of sheep and you will live the experience of going out with the shepherd and feed them. You will taste the fabulous gastronomy of Anoia in a local restaurant, where you can’t miss the “yaya’s cannelloni” (grandmother’s cannelloni).
You will enjoy 2 cultural visits with workshops included, one to the Paper Mill Museum, where you will learn about the history and tradition of this industry and practice the creation of a sheet of paper. On the other hand, you will travel back in time visiting the CRIP, Paleontological Restoration and Interpretation Center, and living together in a workshop of footprints.
Antoni will invite you to discover his dream come true: a miniature train museum. You will see his spectacular museum and one of the largest models that many of you have ever seen.
