The Alt Empordà region is one of the most beautiful in Catalonia. Between the Mediterranean Coast and the Pyrenees, there are beautiful charming villages, with cobbled streets, porticoes and traditional architecture from the 16th century. But its gastronomy also stands out, with excellent sausages and fruits of the land.
We have prepared a getaway in which you will experience an immersion in the rural world, the culture of Olive Oil and D.O. Empordà. You will know the old machinery and how it has evolved to achieve great quality oils. You will taste great wines from aged vines that mainly produce the Cariñena or Garnacha varieties. You will go through the vineyards on an electric bike, forgetting about the stress of everyday life and becoming in love with the region.

Tour Plan

Day 1
Accommodation and free time to discover the Villa and explore it on a pleasant walk to the Ca N’Isach Neolithic Village, with wonderful views over the Bay of Roses.

Day 2
In the morning Anna will receive you in her cellar to discover the secrets of making her wines, which you can taste with some typical local tapas. You will also visit the olive oil mill and learn interesting details about the types of oil in the market and their flavors. Then you will enjoy a pleasant walk through the vineyards with an electric bike. Free afternoon to continue discovering the region at your own pace.

Day 3
After breakfast we will meet Rubén and enjoy a pleasant morning walking through the Sierra de Rodes and visit its mythical monastery, dating from the 9th century.
