Anoia, history and legends
On this trip you will learn about the origins of Anoia, you will travel through its history up to the present day and discover the legends and customs best kept by its people. Accompanied by the local hosts, you will immerse yourself in the spectacular nature of the territory with a historical route through its splendid nature. You will visit a family winery where you will learn all about wine making and taste its delicious products.
You will spend 7 days and 6 nights where you will mainly visit the south of Anoia with 2 visits to the north.
You will observe the stars surrounded by spectacular nature, you will visit the musealised facilities of what was once the training camp of the XVIII Corps of the People’s Republican Army, which will take you back in time. You will discover the history of an old Paper Mill from the 18th century, a traditional industry of the area, you will visit the natural and archaeological heritage of the area, preserved in an exceptional way. With Dani and Laura, you will visit the ruins of the mystical castle of Jorba with views of the landscape that will leave you speechless. Accompanied by our friend Èlia, you will also have the opportunity to visit a family winery of cavas with more than 8 centuries of tradition, where you will taste two of its delicious products.
A trip during which you will enjoy the nature, the heritage and the local people of Anoia.
