From Barcelona to Tarragona, we want you to live unique experiences with our local hosts. Singular moments in which you will be the real protagonist.

We will visit the cosmopolitan Barcelona and the Imperial Tarraco. We will enjoy the traditional Catalan cuisine through workshops and visits to markets. You will feel the excitement of participating as a human tower in a Colla Castellera and you will go out on a sailboat to navigate among dolphins. You will know the cultural legacy left by the international Pau Casals. We will hear together the song of the “virolai”, children’s choir, in the Montserrat Mountain and you can drive a classic Mehari among the vineyards of a family cellar cellar in Penedés.

An itinerary of spring or any other time of the year, exciting and unique, that you will always live accompanied by the Mediterranean Sea.

ITINERARY

DAY 1 - Arrival

We will pick you up at the airport or at the AVE stations to take you to your hotel. Free time to walk and explore this Mediterranean paradise. Dinner at the hotel.

DAY 2 - El Vendrell

After a good breakfast, we will visit one of the best family wineries in the area where we will enjoy a wine tasting, walk through the vineyard and learn about the different elaboration processes. In the afternoon, the Castellers are waiting for us at their rehearsal room. We will see how they raise their human towers, we can even participate. Master Xatonaire will have us prepared a workshop to learn how to make “Romescu” sauce, the special complement that Xató salad has. We will have dinner there a traditional menu, in which the main dish will be our own Xató.

DAY 3 - Barcelona

Today we will visit Barcelona. A panoramic route will be the best way of this first contact, we will approach the Olympic ring of Monjuïc, The Spanish People or the Columbus Monument. We will stop in the city center to walk along the Rambla and visit “La Boquería” one of the best food markets in Europe. In the afternoon, the impressive Theater of “El Liceu” will be the next stop, to continue walking through the main shopping area between Ramblas, Plaza Cataluña and Paseo de Gracia.

DAY 4 - El Vendrell

Today we will approach the legacy of cellist Pau Casals visiting his birthplace and his summer house, converted into a museum. In the afternoon, we will go sailing in search of dolphins that cross the Mediterranean

DAY 5 - Montserrat

After breakfast we will go to the rounded Montserrat Mountains and its famous Monastery, where at exactly 1:00 p.m. we will hear the Calan de la Escolanía (one of the oldest children’s choirs in Europe). We will eat in Montserrat or its surroundings. Return to El Vendrell and free afternoon.

DAY 6 - El Vendrell

After a well-deserved breakfast we will make a gentle Nordisk Walking hiking trail with instructor and sticks through the vineyards of the area to end with a picnic in the countryside. Free time to sunbathe or take a dip in the beaches of Comarruga, famous for its high iodine properties. You can end the day at the hotel SPA before dinner

DAY 7 - Tarragona

Our departure today takes us to the Roman Tarragona where we will visit the Wall, the Provincial Forum and its Roman Circus, and we will know some of the stories of Romans that occurred in this location. After lunch we will have free time to make some purchases before returning to Comarruga.

DAY 8 - Farewell

Free time and last purchases before returning home or transfer to the AVE station.
