Rio de Janeiro is a city located south east of Brazil and is one of the main cultural centers of the country. The population is more than 6 million people and has an area of 1182 km2 full of areas and corners to explore.
At our first stop in Latin America, together with the Catalan Tourism Agency, we had the opportunity to meet with agencies and visit the icons of the city.
The “Cristo Redentor”, with a height of 30.1 meters on a pedestal of 8 meters, located on the top of the Cerro del Corcovado in the Tijuca National Park, and Mount “Pao de Açucar”, located at the mouth of the Bay of Guanabara on a peninsula that juts out into the Atlantic Ocean, in addition to the Copacabana beach, the most known in Rio de Janeiro, are still special places.
